Did you know that it took 14 months before our government authorized an official investigation?
Did you know that the investigation only happened because several victims families had to plead with government officials to investigate how their loved ones were killed?
Did you know that President Bush and Vice-President Cheney told Tom Daschle, then Speaker of the House, and Patrick Leahy to limit the investigation?
Did you know that the government only allotted $3 million at first, then added just $11 million later? (In comparison, $60 million was spent investigation Bill Clinton for the Whitewater land deal and what became "Monicagate".)

Vice Chairman Lee Hamilton proclaimed, "The focus of the commission will be on the future. We're not interested in trying to assess blame, we do not consider that part of the commission's responsibility."
